The "Tiffany" cupcake print

Here is peek at a new listing I have released in my store for purchase, with new colors, for one of my art prints, Live Love and Bake Cupcakes.   The print is named after a sweet  lady from Costa Mesa, who asked me to create this print based off of a lovely color scheme she has in her kitchen.  (I am still secretly jealous that she has the Robin's Egg Blue KitchenAid mixer). :) Tiffany generously shared a few photos of her custom art print, now comfortably snuggled in its new home.

The Beauty of Custom Art Pieces: Portuguese Anyone ?

I absolutely love doing custom prints. When Margaret from Brazil, emailed me for a custom print to be created and sent to her and used on her cookie blog, I got really excited.  Margaret wanted a version of my "Live, Love, and Bake Cookies" art print. She requested the text, "Live, Love and Decorate Cookies" written in Portuguese. I made this lovely pink cake this evening for my birthday.  I found it on a fantastic blog,  Sweetapolita.   Everything on the site looks heavenly.   I could have eaten the buttercream frosting with a spoon it was so yum!

Making Sure I Don't Miss A Thing ...

I was inspired late last night to create a new art print. It was my 3 year old's birthday so it was a full day.  My husband and I took him along with his two teenage sisters to a park to have a picnic.  It was simple, quiet and everything it should have been.   I am sure many of you can relate, but I am guilty sometimes of being that over-busy mommy, running around on a frequency one can't possibly sustain. I have a much better ability in the past few years to enjoy my days and not stress over details like I used to.  I feel like I now notice all the sunrises and sunsets.  It is really lovely to be fully present in the moment.

Pride & Prejudice + Weddings = Perfect Bliss (sigh.....)
